GCDF THEORY OF CHANGE
GCDF holds very strongly that systemic and enduring change is possible when communities and development stakeholders are empowered with appropriate information and resources to initiate and drive their own development agenda, actively participating in addressing challenges affecting them through working with governments, development partners, other actors and above all tapping and utilizing locally available resources, building a culture of giving in communities and practicing community philanthropy to access basic rights, services and promote sustainability of their initiatives.
GCDF is a Charitable Community Development Foundation founded in the year 2018 and legally registered with the relevant authorities in Uganda as Company Limited by Guarantee with no share capital and Not-For-Profit Non-Governmental Organization under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act 2016.
