GDCF is making every effort to ensure that every citizen in all the targeted counties understands the Constitution of Uganda 1995 and particularly the Chapters on protection and promotion of fundamental and other human rights and freedoms, public participation and representation of the people.

In this thematic area of focus, GCDF seeks to strengthen both the organizational and institutional capacities of Grass root structures who are the key holders of the development agenda. 

Our Agriculture and Livelihoods thematic area seeks to promote economic growth targeting people at the grassroots who do not have the purchasing power for basic necessities of life – food, clothing and housing / shelter. GCDF shall facilitate livelihood creation interventions in urban areas and rural marginalized communities.

The program facilitates implementation of the Paris Agreement under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) entered into force in November 2016; marking a new era of climate action that will put the world on a path to eliminating carbon from the global economy by the second half of the century.

Under this program, GCDF aims to enhance Sexual, Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) Awareness and the Social Economic wellbeing of children, youth and Adults in Uganda. The program targets Adolescents & Youths 12-37 years, Adults 37-55 Years, Females & Males of child bearing age with special focus on Persons living with disability
